Application assessment

After the deadline for the submission of supporting documents, the applications are collected in each Department and forwarded to the ECTS Coordinator of each Department/Faculty in order to start the evaluation and selection process. During this process, the ECTS Coordinator and the Bilateral Agreements Officers will take into account the order of priority of the Universities you have indicated in your application together with the following criteria:

  • 50% of the total number of credits up to the current semester of study
  • sufficient knowledge of the language of the programme to be attended by the student
  • the student’s level of study (undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral)
  • the year of admission (preference will be given to students in their first four years of study).
  • the total number of credits of the courses which the student has successfully passed up to the last completed semester of study
  • the academic performance (grade point average of the courses the student has passed up to the time of application), and
  • the curriculum vitae including motivation for participation
  • the degree and duration of the degree/postgraduate diploma in the case of a postgraduate student/doctoral candidate
