Application presuppositions

Participation in the Erasmus + Programme:

  1. Undergraduate students in an official Higher Education Institution holding the Erasmus University Charter (EUC), doing a course which leads to the acquisition of a degree or other tertiary level qualification, in accordance with national procedures.
  2. Citizens of a country participating in the Erasmus+ Programme
  3. Citizens of other countries who are active students at a Higher Education Institution in Greece, according to F. 151/20049 / B6/20.02.2007 (Government Gazette 272B / 01-03-07) Ministerial Decision and other relevant legislation, if they meet the selection criteria set by the Programme and the Foundation.

Application submission

Before the application submission:

  1. The decision to participate in the Erasmus+ Programme should be made after a discussion with your parents and when all the parameters of the program have been clarified. This information is necessary, as the funding you will receive from the Programme is only sufficient to cover part of any extra expenses incurred during your studies at the host Institution; not all of your needs.
  2. A presupposition for the submission of the Erasmus+ application as well as for the communication between you, our Department and your host University is having a personal institutional e-mail account.
  3. You should take care to be fully informed both about the Universities with which there is a valid bilateral agreement as well as about the study programmes of the Universities where you wish to visit. To be precise, for this purpose:
  • Visit the website of the Department of European Educational Programmes of AUTh, where you will find the list of the partner universities, but also all the important dates related to the application periods.
  • Visit the websites of the Universities you wish to visit or contact them, in order to be informed about the available courses that are relevant to those of your curriculum at the AUTh as well as the possible specific criteria that the host Institution may set for the final acceptance of your application.
  • Contact the ECTS Coordinator of the Department in order to provide you with any additional information or support.

Application submission:

The application submission take place through an electronic platform during the specific application period following a relevant call for applications.
