Students are admitted to the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki’s School of Social Theology and Christian Culture through the Pan-Hellenic University Entrance Examinations.

  1. By Qualifying Exams

Qualifying Examinations for entry into the School of Social Theology and Christian Culture are held in the School’s classrooms for graduates of Higher Educational Institutions (HEI) and Technological Educational Institutions (TEI), as well as graduates of I.E.K and Post-Secondary – Apprenticeship Programs. (The Secretariat announces a detailed schedule of classes to be examined).

According to the Minister’s Decision No. Φ1/192329/B3 (Government Gazette 3185/16-12-13 issue B) and article 74 par.3 of the Law 4485/2017 (Government Gazette 114/4-8-2017 issue A), “Classification Procedure for Graduates of Higher Education,” after successfully passing the qualifying examinations, university graduates, as well as graduates from TEIs or equivalents and A.S.PAIT.T.E., both from Greece and abroad (recognized by the NARIC), as well as holders of degrees from higher schools with a two-year cycle of study recognized by the Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs and other Ministries, are classified in the third semester of study at a rate of 12% of the total number of students admissible.

Furthermore, after successfully passing their examinations, candidates who have graduated from I.E.K. and Post-Secondary School – Apprenticeship Class and hold a Level Five (5) Education and Training Diploma of Vocational Specialization according to the National Qualifications Framework, or an equivalent title, with specialization in subjects related to music, as mentioned in the following announcement, are also placed in the first semester of studies at a rate of 5% of total admissions.
