The Faculty Library is housed on the 1st floor of the Faculty of Theology building

School of Thelogy has its own Library that emerged from the consolidation of the individual libraries of the old School departments, which were scattered throughout the building. The Library is rich and well-organized, and it has a reading room. Its administration is carried out by the School’s Administration Board

Access to the Library’ s basement and books lending are completed up to a quarter before closing time.

Students who wish to borrow books must, upon obtaining their student ID, register with the library. Registration is completed online through the following address:

Library Membership

Library members can be all AUTH students, as well as employess of all categories. To register as member in the AUTH library system, filling of an electronic application is required, after their Academic Id has been received. Along with the submission of the electronic application, a photo of their student ID from both sides must be sent to the following email address: theolibrary@theosch.auth.gr

Individuals outside the AUTh academic community are defined as external users and can register with a subscription fee.

Lending

The library of the School of Theology belongs to the AUTh library system and follows the unified Operating Regulations of the AUTh libraries. Borrowing from the library is made only by appointment and the submission of an electronic application electronic application is mandatory. After searching for the details of the material you desire in the collective catalog of the AUTh libraries, submit the relevant request.

Lending is completed by presenting the academic ID.

You will be notified by the staff for the collection of the material by appointment, Monday to Friday 9:00 – 14:00.

For the study of non-borrowed material, an electronic reservation application is required.

After borrowing, up to two (2) borrowing renewals can be made unless the book/document is requested by another user. In this case, the member is notified to return it .

Mandatory use of a mask and hand sanitization during the delivery and receipt of material at the entrance of the Library and on-site study of non-borrowed material.
